satoh (or is it sato?) is one of the most prolific composers of japan's cinema, with more than 300 works with - mainly - the toho studio. he started in the mid-50s, performing a couple of scores for the godzilla series, then moving to be akira kurosawa's natural associated composer. his collaboration with director hideo gosha became also very famous thanks to goyokin, in the late 60s. highlights of their joint-works are presented here. kinda jazzy feeling sometimes - he often incorporated western influences into his work. find more about this record, here
