I've been wanting to hear this LP for years... thanks! Motohiko's drumming on the Joe Henderson 'Live in Japan' LP is remarkable. One listen to 'Junk Blues' made me a fan for life.

Is anyone else having problems accessing lix.in? I haven't been able to load their site for over a week now. Curious.

G!

we devils are not easily impressed but you have done a fair good
thing here, my friend!

when i left for college, i stole my older brother's copy of this LP. at the time he was royally pissed for about three years. if he knew how much this bloody LP goes for now, he would be pissed for another two decades -

by the way, do any of you know what day 01st & 02nd february was for japanese jazz? which artist recorded one of 'those' essential' sets? hmmm, think hard -

if you still cannot figure it out - then be sure to check out "the pit" on 01 feburary. i am planning a late-20's b-day party, see you all there and then,

i have learned for the first time about such problems. i too had the"track # 3" problem. i finally got it & the folder deleted.

however, i now know something new. this is the first time i had such a file problem - there are no guarantees on the web, so it is paritally my fault for opening the sticky file.

please let us all take care -

cheers,

jn

Vesper:

Hi Vesper, yet another top post on top site. Have read the comments tho, is there any "bugs" on the download? Thanks .. ash

vesper said...

Yes, there is, better is not to download at the moment, since you might get a corrupted file which then gets stuck onto you computer. Nothing serious, but annoying, no virus or anything of that sort. Trying to find a way to get rid of it, and then fixing the post, just stay tuned!! Can not tell you how sorry I am that the sharing file business turns into a fixing computer stuff :(

Jazzme - if you can't delete the file, try the freeware "Unlocker" That's what I did.

The files worked for me, and it all sounds great. I love Toko's drumming.

thank you pelle appreciate it

I downloaded the file from several computers, and sometimes it worked, track 3 could normally be read. I guess the point is not to manipulate the MACOSX file generated when building the archive. After extracting, you need to throw it away. As I said, sometimes I could directly get rid of it, sometimes couldn't... Anyway, here a new link that may work properly:

I think the problem was caused by the way you named it, using (:)instead of (-)

I was talking about track 3, of course
