Hi El Goog, it took me some time!

THANK YOU. I have one of his JPN LPs as CPU and have been ISO more of his LPs. Thanks!
While not my cup of tea, but it is a remarkable recording! Never expected to see it posted--thanks for exceeding my expectations again!
Ya vesper. Great work.
In future, I guess 1009 will try "We Now Create".
I will post "Session in Paris, Vol. 1" ,too. Yep coming soon.
best,
eG
hello vesper,
to say that the sharing of this one album was most anticipated is an understatement.
the only copy I was able to locate is up for grabs at over 100 euros.
so, thank you so much for sharing the music, until some record company understands the interest of it...
me again.
'currently listening to the thing with loads of pleasure!
to anyone who hasn't let themselves tempted by downloading it, I must stress the fact even if it's certainly not jazz, by anybody's standard, it's certainly a recording made by a talented and creative percusionist.
probably more reminiscent of Japanese traditional music as well as of some threads in (still) contemporary music, you definitely should give it a try.
thanks again for sharing.
Thank you for the wonderful selections. I had the extreme good fortune to see the late, great Togashi Masahiko playing on a number of occasions including a solo performance at Kanagawa Arts Centre, and I've rarely seen a musician as 'inside' the music he was playing. He cast spells when he played. Anthony Dolphin, Santa Sprees, Tokyo
I have a few oop Togashis which I could put up here if anyone is interested - titles that spring to mind are:
SONG FOR MYSELF
SPEED AND SPACE
WE NOW CREATE
SPRITUAL NATURE
COSMIC PULSATION UNITY
BURA BURA
some others too, will have to look
which ones are most sought after? I don't know which are already circulating on this and other blogs
Togashi was an incredible talent for sure
For my part, I'm seeking TOGASHI/TAKAYANAGI - PULSATIONS LP
if anyone has that
let me know
try this

hello anonymous,
thanks for the tip regarding WE NOW CREATE.
I, for one, would be interested in the other ones.
thanks in any case.
Thanks anonymous.
I'm interested in your other Togashi.
But I do not seem to be able to fill you. Because it is expensive even if it is serious to find it very much, and finds it. I had ever seen "PULSATIONS" that the price tag of $200 has been put up before.
Anyway here please instead, if you don't have it.
Masayuki Togashi - Session in Paris Vol.1: Song of Soil [1979] [Paddle Wheel/King Record GP-3206]

Feel free to drop your OOPs here, I'll make proper posts of them if you want, or at El Goog's, there surely are many people around eager to grab them!
Thanks! I'll get to it as soon as I can. Good news is that I found a copy of "Sketch" by Togashi in Holland a few days ago. It is an amazing record and will appear here soon.

Those of you who found Rings tough going should try these - they are more "jazz" than the solo percussion stuff and more accessible. Not less good or less avant-garde of course. These are rips from my own LP copies. I have some others on tape and CDR but need to find them first. Hope you enjoy

I would love to have Bura Bura (with Dave Holland, Steve Lacy, and Don Cherry, if I recall). Thanks!
thank you so much, anonymous, for those OOP rarities.
hopefully, I know I'm repeating myself, some record company will some day understand the potential of that music and make it widely available again.
'same goes with BURA BURA which I haven't been able to get my hands onto, so I'm unfortunately unable to return the favor.
thanks again.
I have Bura Bura somewhere - will try to find it.
